Since its opening, Mark has spent most of his time doing shows at Hale Center Theatre Orem - even performing with founder Ruth and Nathan Hale in the early years. His recent credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Maurice) and Hans Christian Andersen in New York (Old Hans) with HCT; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Grandpa Joe) with The Ruth; and Emma: The Musical (Mr. Woodhouse) with HCTO. A graduate of BYU with a degree in education, Mark taught 4th grade for 30 years and also worked at the Children's Library in Orem for 40 years. Now retired, Mark enjoys doing more theater and volunteering at a local school and libraries. “The difference between a lady and a flower girl is not how she behaves but how she is treated.”
