La has worked extensively as a costume designer, designing nearly fifty productions for theatre, dance, and opera across the Western United States over the past fifteen years. Her work has been at companies such as Sundance Summer Theatre, Plan B Theatre Co., Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Salt Lake Acting Company, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University.La holds an MFA in Costume Design and works as an Associate Professor of Costume Design and Technology at Utah Valley University, where she is also the Chair of the Theatre Department. Additionally, she has co-produced the past three summer musicals at Sundance for UVU. La loves local theatre and is grateful for a community that embraces the arts.
