Kathryn is thrilled to be on stage at the amazing Parker Theatre. She was last seen in SLC at the Eccles Blackbox downtown as The Mirror in Javen Tanner’s SNOW WHITE with Sting & Honey. In fact, she appeared in many S&H productions both there and at the Rose Wagner, most notably as The Ghost of Queen Elizabeth I in Tanner’s THE KINGS MEN as well as Paulina in Shakespeare’s THE WINTER’S TALE, and many more. Kathryn has also appeared locally with Pygmalion Productions, Utah Contemporary Theatre, Sundance and Salt Lake Acting Company. Originally from Massachusetts, Kathryn has worked in New York, London, Key West and San Francisco. Sher was a professional actress for 50 years, touring nationally and worldwide as well. She also had a career as a fundraiser for Public Television, Red Butte Garden, Catholic Community Services and the College of Fine Arts at the University of Utah. She has been retired since 2017 and loves to travel the world with her darling husband, Jacques and to spend time with their blended family of children and grandchildren. Kathryn recently discovered this gem of a theatre and it inspired her to stop working professionally in theatre in order to pursue community theatre for Act III of her life.
