Jess is thrilled to be driving the roller coaster of The Prince of Egypt. Her twenty-plus-year career includes a wide variety of productions, from intimate one-man dramas with provocative and social impact to large-scale spectacles. Large musicals and Shakespeare are her favorite genres to stage manage, but right now, she really enjoys working on a diverse range of projects throughout the year thanks to the opportunities provided by working as a Production Stage Manager at Hale Centre Theatre. Recent HCT credits include: The Addams Family, May We All, Fiddler on the Roof, Around the World in 80 Days, Hans Christian Andersen in New York, Titanic The Musical, Treasure Island, Singin’ in the Rain, The Play That Goes Wrong, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, Lucky Stiff, Strictly Ballroom: The Musical and Phantom. As a swing, she has supported her fellow HCT stage managers on works such as Elf: The Musical, Les Misérables, Daddy Long Legs, Steel Magnolias, and Matilda The Musical. Some of her favorite non-HCT credits cover a variety of theaters from California and Utah, primarily Silent Sky, Peter and the Starcatcher, Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, Tintypes: A Musical Revue, The Gog/Magog Project, Neil Simon’s Eugene trilogy, and the world premiere of Edison & Tesla: An Original Musical. Her love and thanks go to her husband, Brent, and her son Beau. None of this would be possible without their unwavering support and encouragement to continue chasing her dreams.
